Upcoming Workshops
An interactive Math workshop will help new and experienced tutors understand how to engage students in mathematical thinking, build confidence, and develop problem solving skills.
Extra time will be provided this year for more hands-on practice and modeling of how to handle specific situations that come up for tutors.
A workshop to learn more about Amplify CKLA, Cambridge Public Schools’ new elementary literacy curriculum. You will learn why Cambridge chose a new curriculum, the theory behind the curriculum, and how the curriculum aligns with the middle and high school literacy curriculums. Resources will be shared to help you better support students.
Open to all volunteers (preschool-12) but will be most relevant to elementary and middle school volunteers.
