supporting Cambridge public school students

Teams Work

four people, three men and a woman

This fall Cambridge School Volunteers is pleased to welcome several academic teams into our fold in K–8 and high school programs.  A crew of graduate students from Harvard University’s Earth and Planetary Sciences (in photo) came to our kickoff orientation in September. MIT’s Department of Chemical Engineering, which is already a corporate partner in our NetPals program, has expanded into the realm of elementary school math by launching a Friday Math Team that will help out at Martin Luther King, Jr. School in the fifth grade. And we’re delighted to also welcome graduate students from the MIT Department of Materials Science to our tutoring center at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School this fall.

Go, Teams!
