supporting Cambridge public school students

Six reasons to give to CSV

#Giving Tuesday
A New Holiday Tradition

Today, as you think about your charitable giving options, we hope you choose to donate to Cambridge School Volunteers to see your gift help students locally. Why?  Here’s six reasons:

  1. Cambridge School Volunteers provides a means for our volunteer tutors andPeabodyAmigosmentors to open doors for students, doors to literature, science, technology, poetry, engineering, and mathematics.
  2. Making an online gift is quick and easy.
  3. Giving feels great (almost as good as volunteering)!
  4. Teachers rely on CSV to design and run quality volunteer programs.
  5. Students use CSV’s free tutoring and mentoring services without worrying about payment, applications, or getting there. Services are delivered before, during, and after school at every Cambridge public school.
  6. Your donation will be used wisely by a Guidestar gold charity that relies on more than 1,000 volunteers to deliver tutoring and mentoring.

You can also donate through your charitable fund at Fidelity Charitable or Schwab Charitable by clicking here.
Some examples of how the money is spent: $20 buys two new books for the Reading Buddies collection, $50 pays for new math games for Learning Centers, $100 underwrites a teacher stipend for delivering volunteer training, and $250 covers the cost of a new laptop for staff to use in managing the NetPals program.
Thank you!
