supporting Cambridge public school students

Afternoon Learning Center Tutors Needed

Do you want to make a difference in the life of a student? Do you have at least one hour a week to give? Join our team of enthusiastic tutors at Cambridge School Volunteers who are currently being matched with sixth- through eighth- graders for homework help and academic support in our Learning Centers.RAUC_LC2015

Learning Centers meet after school (3:00 p.m.–4:15 p.m.), on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for one-to-one tutoring at least once a week in all of the Cambridge public middle (upper) schools and the Amigos School. All locations are easily accessible via public transportation. We provide orientation and training. A teacher and an organization staff member are present to support the student and tutor pairs in their weekly sessions. To take the first step towards making a difference, email Kasey Appleman or click below to sign up for an orientation.
