supporting Cambridge public school students

For Students

Free Tutoring

CRLS and HSEP students—it’s easy to get free tutoring from Cambrige School Volunteers. A volunteer tutor will be matched to you after you fill out your request form. Click here to fill out this form.

Tutoring will be available on Zoom or Google Meet during times when remote school is not in session, including afternoons, early evenings, Wednesdays, and weekends. You and your tutor will meet once a week for approximately 45 minutes.

You may request a tutor for more than one subject.

High school students who need help with their college essays or applications, or with researching and deciding on colleges, may request to be matched with an adult volunteer mentor from CSV.

You can also have a mentor help you decide about and apply to other kinds of post-secondary programs (gap year programs and career training programs).

College and career mentoring will be available on Zoom during a time that is convenient for both you and your volunteer mentor.
