A Big Welcome to CSV’s Newest Board Members

CSV welcomes its two newest board members, Cambridge residents Naveed Rahman and Holly Donaldson. Both bring a strong level of support for the public school system as well as a dedication to community involvement to their new board roles.

NaveedRahman, currently an institutional portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments, has had extensive experience in the world of finance. His various positions have included management consultant and new business development. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Rahman held positions at the Boston Consulting Group and also served as assistant director of admissions for the Harvard Business School. He is proud to be the father of two students at the Amigos School, where his wife also teaches. In addition, he brings his personal experience as a middle school student who needed math tutoring while attending an international school, and as a volunteer tutor for many years while at college and beyond. Rahman says that he’s looking forward to a board role on the finance committee where he can use his love of the “number side of things” to both grow and better steward CSV’s resource base.

hollyheadshotDonaldson is a realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Prior to her work there, she spent considerable time in NYC in the retail world, in management, sales and merchandising. Donaldson also managed her own photo styling service, producing successful advertising and editorial content for magazines, websites, television and video. No stranger to the non-profit sector, Donaldson has volunteered for many different agencies over the years including City Sprouts, the Cambridge Arts Council, and Boston’s Art Connection. She is the parent of three public school students, two at the Rindge Avenue Upper School, and one at CRLS. In Donaldson’s words, “My goal as a new board member is to expand local awareness of Cambridge School Volunteers to increase both funding and a high quality volunteer base”.

CSV is delighted to welcome its two newest board members and looks forward to their contributions to the work of the agency that does so much to promote the academic success of all Cambridge public school students.
